Hi,

I have mentioned in my query as follows

Database Size is : 700 GB
Database : Oracle 10g
Operating system : RHEL 5
SAP Version : 4.7
RAM: 16 GB
IBM X 3500 M2 SERVER

I am not receiving Logon not possible message. My problem is the Average
DB request time is around 3000 ms. One year back the size of Database is
540 GB. At that time the average DB Request time is around 600 ms.

Regards,

M.Sundaram

Hi,

You're not telling us anything about your SAP/OS/DB versions, so I just
have to guess what's happening in your situation.

It sounds like you're running on MSSQL database and that the transaction
log gets filled up before the background jobs that terminates with the
error "Logon not possible" are started.
Then during the night the transaction log is backed up and emptied, which
will give the users access to the system again the next morning.

Could this be it?

LEH

Hi,

Due to high CPU Utilization in our SAP Server, we have added extra cpu to
our SAP system, restarted it, everything is working fine. All users are
able to work but now there is a peculiar situation.

In SM37, jobs assigned to a particular user is some times executed without
any issues and some times, jobs are getting canceled with the message : "
Logon not possible (error in license check).

My question is, If the message "Logon not possible" is true, how it is
possible for other users to work and also I said before, the same user id
is able to execute some jobs.

Anyone experienced this problem before and any suggestions on this.

Thanks & Regards,

C V Jayachandra
